Keeling W. Hulsey

Keeling W. Hulsey, age 71, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Eva Webb Hulsey, and sister, Diane Godley.  Mr. Hulsey is survived by children, Nick and Jennifer Hulsey of Hoschton, GA, Katie and David Zummo of Springfield, VA, Christina and Robert Bryant of Tucker, GA, Carrie and Maurice Cooke of Lawrenceville, GA; seven grandchildren, Logan, Mackenzie, Madison, Mya, Tyler, Jonah, Carson; sisters, Joan (Jack) Tarleton of Decatur, GA, and Rae McCranie of Marysville, KS; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Hulsey was born on August 23, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1967 graduate of Towers High School in Decatur, GA. Mr. Hulsey was a veteran of the U S Army, and he was a retired construction foreman. Among his jobs was remodeling work at the Decatur Historical Courthouse. He enjoyed bowling in his younger years and was an avid gardener, earning the nickname “Garden Father.”  A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Keeling Hulsey.
