Glenda Sue Clark

Mrs. Glenda Sue Clark, age 70 of Dawsonville, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Gold City Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pastor Teron Gentry will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Clark was born May 4, 1950 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late John Millard Anderson and Lilly Mae Saine Southers.  She was retired from Artistic Stone Company as a bookkeeper.  Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Guy Clark and two of her sisters, Deborah Truelove and Gale Clark.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, David Clark of Dawsonville, Brandy & Jason Nix of Dahlonega and Stacie & Chance Peedle of Pensacola, Florida, her grandchildren, Ryan Clark, Rachel Clanton, Sydney Clark, Hunter Nix and Caitlyn Cross, her sister & brother-in-law, Vicki & Jerry Cole of Dahlonega.  A number of nieces, nephews and other family also are survived.
