Ruth Brock

Mrs. Ruth Brock, age 86, of Gillsville, GA died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.  Mrs. Brock was born in Commerce to the late Linton Newton and Ethel Gregory Weldon.  She was a member of Commerce Presbyterian Church and retired from BJC Hospital, after 40 years of service.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Cochran and brother, Harold Weldon.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her daughters, Kathy Brogan of Commerce and Pam Ferguson of Gillsville; brother, William Weldon of Arcade; grandchildren, Michael Ledford (Angel), Crystal Rogers (Daryl), Jennifer Ledford, Joseph Dempsey and Jamie Ferguson; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, May 1 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Manus officiating.  Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 7 PM.
