Maurice Roscoe “Reece” Hefner

Maurice Roscoe “Reece” Hefner, 87 of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 after an extended illness.  He was born in Forrest City, NC to the late Walter R. and Virginia Hefner.  He was a retired teacher and football coach.  He loved to watch football, golf and supporting his grandchildren in all their endeavors.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

He is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Hefner. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gail Hefner of Dawsonville, GA; children, Tracy and Jay Ramage of Cumming, GA, Kelly and Rick Barrett of Santa Rosa, FL; grandchildren, Grant Ramage and his future wife Ivy Smith of Cumming, GA, Abigail Ramage of Cumming, GA; and numerous other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
