Robert John Forsman

Mr. Robert John Forsman, 81, of Oakwood passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Born on November 5, 1939 in Erie, PA, he was the son of the late Elmer John and Josephine Martz Forsman. Mr. Forsman was retired from Badcock –Wilcock Co. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Forsman is survived by his daughters, Carol Lawrence of Gainesville, Elizabeth Forsman of Oakwood; sons, Scott Forsman of Carrollton, William Forsman of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Jessica Hardin, Amber Woodfield, Evan Lawrence and three great grandchildren; mother of the children and lifelong best friend, Linda Forsman.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
