Ervin Vincent (Vince) Ingram

Obituary Date: Sunday, April 25, 2021

Ervin Vincent Ingram (Vince), a life-long resident of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer, at the age of 72.

Vince is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Young Ingram, daughter, Tammy Tull, son and daughter-in-law, Chris Ingram and Crystal Steffins, granddaughter Zoey Tull, and his 7 brothers and sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth Ingram.

Vince was born in Dawsonville on family property in 1949. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving as an Instrumentation Mechanic during the Vietnam War where he earned several medals. He earned an associate degree from Imperial Valley College in California. A talented builder and woodworker, he was known as a skilled tradesman and compassionate friend and neighbor. He was a problem-solver who made everything look easy. He enjoyed traveling, camping with friends, farming, and playing music. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all those who knew him.

A celebration of life gathering will be Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at 4:00pm located at the place he loved best, the red barn. 199 Windy Hill Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his name are appreciated; an organization that was close to his heart.
