Charles Lee Bennett

Mr. Charles Lee Bennett, 78, of Royston, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 in Jackson MS.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on January 5, 1943 in Murrayville, GA, he was the son of Hoyt and Stella Mae Jones Bennett. He was a Truck Driver for Foster Trucking. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bennett is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Bennett and sister, Evelyn Roberson.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his daughter, Tammy Bennett Madrid of Royston; grandchildren, Jessica Ricketts, Hai Bennett, Linda Bennett, Tabatha Bennett; 12 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
