Jane Juanita Pugh

Jane Jaunita Pugh, age 85, of Sugar Hill, GA passed peacefully away, surrounded by family, on Saturday, April 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty-one years, Dewey Wendell Pugh; devoted son, Royce Martin Pugh; her dear son-in-law, Ernie Higgins; and parents, Joseph and Mary Orso. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Lynn and William Harrington, Jr., Roswell, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Wayne, Sr. and Lisa Pugh, Tucker, GA; daughter, Joyce Pugh Higgins, Sugar Hill, GA; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mattie Pugh and Lois Cronic, both of Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Pugh was born September 27, 1935 in Mobile, AL. While being a military spouse with her husband in the Air Force for 21 years, Jane was the most loving wife, self-assured, soft spoken, and bravest of women. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Sugar Hill Church Chapel with remains placed in state at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12:30 until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association ( heart.org ) in memory of Jane J. Pugh.
