Roy F. Clay

Roy F. Clay, 83, of Buford, GA, died Monday, April 19, 2021. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Craig Dale and Pastor Ted Williams will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 12 PM – 2 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ivy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, in memory of Roy. Roy is survived by his wife, Margaret Clay of Buford, brother, Marion Clay (Eloise) of Brookhaven, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Roy was born in Monticello, GA and moved to the Atlanta area in 1965. He served in the National Guard and a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church. He retired as an office manager from Gold Kist.
