William Swayne Jordan, age 72 of Homer, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence.
Born on Jan. 27, 1949 in Commerce, GA, Mr. Jordan was the son of Marian Adamson Jordan and the late Weldon Cleon Jordan. He was a youth detention officer with the State of Georgia and was an Army veteran of the United States.
Survivors in addition to his mother include a brother, Randall Jordan, Flowery Branch; sister, Vickie Cochran, Commerce; 2 nieces, Christy M. Holt, Karla S. Lee; 4 nephews, John A. Cochran, Kevin R. Cochran, Wesley Eric Jordan, and Gregory R. Jordan.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Mt. Carmel with Rev. Phil Parks and Rev. James Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
