Batty Ruth Bates

Batty Ruth Bates, age 84, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021. She was born in 1936 in Calhoun, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Mae Edwards.

She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Bates; children, Johnny Clark, Jeff Clark, Gary Clark, Jeff Bates, Linda Morrow, and Tammy Sides; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. James Long officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
