Ms. Donna Mechelle Dupree 57 of Gainesville Ga transitioned April 12th, 2021. Born September 13th, 1963 to the late and great Sarah (Leroy) Maxwell and Frank Dupree. Employed for many years at the Phoenix of Lake Lanier where she cared for many.
Ms. Dupree was a beautiful spirit and had a heart of gold, to know her was to love her... some of her passions in life included voicing her love for God and having faith in His will. She loved to educate the young on being "black and proud," She was Unapologetic for her strength and true to herself and others. A devoted mother to "her 3 girls," and a wonderful nanna to all of her grandchildren. She was the problem solver (the-go-to-person) of the family. She took on many task whether it was caring or helping anyone she could and she will genuinely be missed.
She is survived by her 3 daughters Maranda Smith, Lacey Burce, Casey Burce, all of Gainesville, Ga. 7 grandchildren; D'Nari Woods, Bryan Young, J'Mon Burce, Saniya Williams, Aramis Smith, Quavarise Turner, Quamir Burce. 4 loving sisters; Teresa Dupree Hunter of Oakwood Ga, Deborah (Larry) Mitchell of Hartwell Ga, Leslie (Frederick) Dewberry of Gainesville Ga, Cicely (Jeff) Johnson of Gainesville Georgia....2 loving brothers; Dwight Dupree and Dana Maxwell both of Gainesville Ga. 6 nephews and 7 nieces (whom she loved all like her own) 3 best friends; Timothy Burce of Gainesville Ga and Crystal Collins of Ga. Eyvette Martin of Oakwood Ga. 1 son whom she adopted by heart and pure love; Vincent E Wilkins Jr.
