Glenda Sue Elrod, age 59 of Toccoa, GA passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her residence.
Born on May 20, 1961 in Murphy, NC, Mrs. Elrod was the daughter of the late Carbet and Edna Mae Russell Bingham. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Henry “Buddy” Elrod, of the home; sons, Jessie (Kat) Elrod, Buddy (Dicie) Elrod, Jonathan (Crystal) Elrod; daughter, Summer (Justin) Dupray; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Flowery Branch, GA. The family will receive friends 12 pm until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
