Donna Jane Randall

Donna Jane Randall, 63, of Dawsonville passed away Friday April 9, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. 

Born July 5, 1957 and raised in Louisiana, Donna had been a resident of Dawson County for the past five years. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she was affectionately known as “Mimi”. She was a devout Christian whose favorite Bible verses were Ephesians 6:10-20. Throughout her entire life, Donna rescued, raised and loved Basset Hounds. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Beverly Randall.

Surviving are her husband, Marion Franklin “Frank” Shirley of Dawsonville; daughters and sons in law, Lisa and Chris Closs of Dawsonville, Lori and Mark Brooker of Cumming; sisters and brothers in law, Linda and David Doiron of Duluth, Carol Randall and Mickey Krefting of Texas, Susan and Gordon Gill of Louisiana; grandchildren, Julie, Tristan, Hallie, Stephen; other relatives.

The family is planning private memorial services.
