Mrs. Berta Rodriguez Sanchez age 71 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Saturday April 03, 2021 in Fort Scott, Kansas following an extended illness.

Funeral services are schedule for Saturday April 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Hernan Quevedo will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 10, 2021 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. 

Berta was born on April 28, 1949 in Morazan, El Salvador. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic Faith.

Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her daughter, Mirna Santana of Fort Scott, Kansas, son, Melvin Castillo of Fort Scott, Kansas, siblings, German Rodriguez of Gainesville, Martin Rodriguez of El Salvador, Virjilio Rodriguez of El Salvador, Matilde Rodriguez of New Jersey, Blanca Argueta of Maryland, Rosa Rodriguez of El Salvador, Emilia Rodriguez of New Jersey, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
