Joseph Klatka, age 78, of Hoschton, GA passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Morel Klatka of Hoschton; children, Carissa and Crawford Adam of Hoshton, and Kyle and Kirsten Klatka of Arlington, MA; four grandchildren, Max Adam, Brooks Adam, Ellery Klatka, Marley Klatka; and sister, Carol Raenaker of Hoschton. Mr. Klatka was born on April 11, 1942 in New Britain, CT. He was a veteran of the U S Marines. Mr. Klatka graduated from the University of Hartford, Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree, and he was a retired mechanical engineer. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he was president of the Men’s Club. Mr. Klatka enjoyed working with wood turning and stained glass, as well as playing racquetball. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul at Prince of Peace Catholic Church or to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, GA.
