Robert Jesse “Bobby” Phillips

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Robert Jesse “Bobby” Phillips, age 68 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  Mr. Phillips was born in Athens, Georgia the son of the late Jesse Edward Phillips and Inez Tench Phillips of Jefferson.  Mr. Phillips was retired from the U.S. Air Force, served in Desert Storm, was a Gold Circle Member of the VFW. 

Survivors in addition to his mother is a sister Susan Phillips of Jefferson.  Uncle, Buddy Phillips of Cumming, cousins Tracey Phillips of Dawsonville, Bud Phillips of Florida, Paula Phillips of Cumming, Lisa Sweat of Jefferson, Jesse Pearson of Dawsonville, and Jake Phillips of Dawsonville.  Numerous other cousins from the Jefferson area and trusted canine companions, Kate and Chewy also survive.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 5, 2021 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with military honors.  The family will receive friends Monday 11:00 - 3:00  P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
