Thomas F. Henderson

Thomas F. Henderson, Sr. age 100 of Gainesville entered rest Monday March 29, 2021 at a private nursing facility.

Mr. Henderson was born April 24, 1920 in Gillsville to the late William S. & Rose Suddath Henderson. He served his Country in the United States Army Aircorp as a Master SGT having served in the 302 Airdrone Squad. Some of the places he served were England, France & Belgium. He retired from Chrysler as a manager and was a member of Northlake Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Jean Everhart Henderson; son, Thomas F. Henderson, Jr.; brothers, Ralph, Howard, John, Lawrence & W.S.; and a sister, Marian; son in law, Garry Ivey.

Survivors include, daughters, Barbara (Harold) Fuller, Sherry Ivey & Carolyn (Bill) Simpson; daughter in law, Julie Weaver; 6 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren also survive.

Private family graveside services will be held Friday April 2, 2021 at the Gillsville Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Danny Jones officiating.
