Mr. Jayron Marqus Britton was born November 27, 1984, in Gainesville, Georgia to Olin Britton and Linda Lou Britton. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jayron received his education from the public schools in Gainesville, Georgia. He attended Gainesville High school where he played football. Jayron’s lifelong dream was to become a chef. For the past two years, Jayron was enrolled at the Art Institute of Atlanta to make those dreams a reality. Along with cooking, Jayron also enjoyed singing, praise dance, and being with his family. Jayron was a member of Saint Paul Methodist Church in Gainesville, Georgia, where he served on the Youth and Male choirs.
Jayron leaves to cherish precious memories: his parents: Olin (Betty) Britton, Columbia, SC, Linda Lou Britton, Gainesville, GA; two brothers: Antoine McKnight, Charleston, SC, Olin Elnard (Lorraine) Britton, Rockingham, NC; one step-sister: Cindy Lites, Columbia, SC eight aunts: Bernice Marshall, Gainesville, GA, Deborah (Kenneth – fiancé) Davis, Simpsonville, SC, Melody (Ivan) Rivers, Suffolk, VA, Warten (Marino) Valentine, Greer, SC, Wanda Richie, Fountain Inn, SC, Renay (Craig) Burchell, Columbia, SC, Louise China, Rembert, SC, Ruth (Keith) Demby, Palmdale, CA; four uncles: Esco Riley, Gainesville, GA, Larry (Brenda) Britton, Sumter, SC, Charles (Catherine) James, and Johnny (Ella) Goodley, all of Sumter, SC ; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition, Jayron was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Esco Riley Sr., his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilton O’Neil Britton, two aunts, Mary Jane Riley and Freddy Nicely and his uncle Jimmy China.
The visitation will be held Friday April 2, 2021 between the hours of 12-8pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Mr. Britton’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday April 3, 2021 at Hillside Chapel. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
