Erlene Vivian Jones McCall

Mrs. Erlene Vivian Jones McCall, 77, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Hudgins and Rev. Terry Brisco will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Born on May 30, 1943 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Sam Perry Jones and the late Blondine Lance Jones. She was retired from Penny’s where she was a Sales Clerk. Mrs. McCall was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Mrs. McCall is survived by her husband, Leon E. McCall of Gainesville; daughters, Diane L. Blackwell, Nancy E. Souther; grandchildren, Weston Dale, Conner Dale,  Joshua Souther and Sterling Klein.
