Louise Thomas Turner Terrell

Louise Thomas Turner Terrell, age 83, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

Mrs. Terrell was born October 7, 1937, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Beecham and Fannie Mae McFay Thomas.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard W. Turner, a granddaughter, Tina Turner Goss,  a sister, Alma M. Butler, and a brother, J. W. Thomas.

Mrs. Terrell was a retired nurse with seventeen years of loyal and dedicated service with the Habersham Medical Center.  She was  of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:  son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sandy Turner, Clarkesville, Georgia;  two sisters: Nell Weaver, Carrollton, Georgia and Merle Woody, Bremen, Georgia;  a brother, Donald Thomas, Jackson, Tennessee;   grandchildren;  Jennifer Turner (Gregory), Kent Foskey (Courtney), Michael Turner (Jessica), Krystal Phasavang,  Austin Turner (Megan), Harley Turner (Erin);  great-grandchildren:  Merinda Oxner,  Jason Goss,  Justin Goss, Turner Chastain, Logan Mize, Ellie Chastain, Allie Phasavang, Ethan Phasavang, Blake Turner, Connor Wilson, Gracie Ann Foskey, Weston Foskey, Skyler Turner, and Bre Turner;  great-great grandchild, Lola Jean Oxner, and her beloved tea cup chihuahua, Lucy.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with the Rev, Austin Kelley and Mr. Larry Whitfield officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 12:oo PM until the funeral hour.
