Marilyn June Mendez

Mrs. Marilyn June Mendez, age 86, of Griffin passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate.

Mrs. Mendez was born April 4, 1934 to the late James Leonard & Claire Mae Drake in Martins Ferry, Ohio. She was a member of Oak Hill Church of Griffin, Georgia and worked as an operator for AT&T.

Mrs. Mendez is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law, Mark & Angie McKernan of Griffin; Daughters & Sons-in-Law, Sherry L. & David Smith of Cleveland and Cindy & Ken Donnelly of Newnan; sister, Barbara Fey of Coco Beach, FL; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Mendez was preceded in death by her husband, Feliciano Mendez and daughter, Sondra McKernan.
