Sara Dell McKie

Mrs. Sara Dell McKie, age 86, of Commerce passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at her residence.  Mrs. McKie was born in Commerce to the late, John Thomas and Addie Mae Baxter Jordan.  Mrs. McKie was a member of Truth Fellowship and was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills Alto.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. McKie was also preceded in death by her husband, William Howard McKie, Sr.

Mrs. McKie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William Howard McKie, Jr. (Connie) of Cornelia, Robert Andrew McKie (Shirley) of Commerce, and Donald Eugene McKie (Joanne) of Commerce; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brother, Lenward E. Jordan of Alto.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 28^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Hill officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3-7 PM.
