After an extended battle with heart disease Terry Douglas Price, passed away on March 22, 2021 during his sleep at his home in Cumming, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Price and his mother Cecile Price.
The family will hold a private service and Doug will be interred at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Georgia. Terry was born March 26, 1948 at Crawford W. Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Sylvan Hills High School. After high school Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army and went on to serve in Vietnam. Doug was one of our unsung heroes from Vietnam having been awarded the Purple Heart. He later was honored to be a Chick-fil-A owner/operator where he had a great influence on many people, including some who followed in his footsteps as owner/operators.
In 1979 Terry met wife Sharon, the love of his life, who he married in 1991. On weekends they loved to travel the southeast together and collect momentos of places they had visited. Doug could tell you the great places to eat in the southeast, especially bar-b-que restaurants.
Terry is survived by his loving wife Sharon Price; his daughter, Holley Price Smith; sisters, Nancy Price Ridzon, Judy Price Mason. He also is survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
