Danny W. Brewer

Danny W. Brewer, age 78, of Baldwin, Georgia went to his heavenly home on Friday, March 19, 2021.

Mr. Brewer was born on December 18, 1942 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late James Benjamin Brewer, Sr. and Clara Jones Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Long Brewer; sister, Patricia Brewer Savage; brothers, Vernon Brewer, Winfred Brewer, J.B. Brewer, Jr. Mr. Brewer was of the Baptist Faith and had retired from City Plumbing and Electric of Cornelia with 38 years of dedicated service.  He was a United States Army Veteran. Danny enjoyed playing music and singing with his band. He was known to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as "Paw-Paw".

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Brittney and Anthony Sims, of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Wynn Brewer, of Habersham County; sister, Sue Thomason, of Jackson; sister-in-law, Alma Brewer, of Cornelia; grandchildren, Nicole Brewer, Kayla Spivey, Kyle Sims, Cali Brewer, Anna Brewer, Maci Sims; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Smith, Daniel "Jax" Spivey, Adeline Spivey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Ed Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the United States Army and the Grant Reeves Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 21, 2021 and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday, March 22, 2021 at the funeral home prior to the service.
