Earl Odum Smith

Earl Odum Smith, age 74, of Cumming, GA passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021. He was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Earl retired from Gwinnett County Board of Education, where he was the audio and visual supervisor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Dorothy Bell Smith; siblings, Elizabeth Bolton, Harold smith, James Calvin Smith, and Marvin Leonard Smith; and nephew, Jason Bolton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Joyce Smith; daughter, Stacy (Philip) Furrow of Cumming; son, Matthew (Teresa) Smith of Cumming; son, Brian (Jennifer) Smith of Cumming; grandson, Dustin (Caitlin) Furrow; granddaughter, Heather Smith; sister, Julie (Clyde) Flannigan of Cumming; brother, Robert Smith; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Jerry Frazier, and Rev. Fred Cato officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
