Colleen Moore Thomas

Colleen Moore Thomas age 86 of Oakwood entered rest Wednesday March 17, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Colleen was born February 13, 1935 in Sautee- Nacoochee to the late Walter & Kate Cantrell Sosebee. She was retired from Goodyear Tire as a retail sales manager. She loved singing in the choir at New Bridge Baptist Church where she was a member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Thomas & a daughter, Dianne Latty.

Survivors include, daughters, Gloria Duncan, Emily (Don) Allan & Jamie (Bart) Buffington; sons, Russ Thomas & Eric (Tracy) Thomas; sisters, Shirley Latty & Ruthalene Murphy; 8 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 20, 2021 at the New Bridge Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 Saturday March 20, 2021 at the church.

Gentlemen honored to serve as pallbearers, Tanner Buffington, Tucker Buffington, Michael Allan, Joshua Allan, David Allan & Jason Allan.
