Mr. Oliver Welborn Kesler, age 90 of Cawthon Road, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his residence.
A son of the late James Allen Kesler and Allice Gillespie Kesler, he was born June 10, 1930 in Banks County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was retired from Bowen and Watson. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Zebulon Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Madge Shirley Kesler, by three brothers, Duard Kesler, Gaylard Kesler and Loy Kesler and by three sisters, Doris Metham, Quilla Sheffield and Gwen Kesler.
Survivors include his wife Johnnie Busha Kesler of the home; step-daughter, Pam (Keith) Anderson of Toccoa; two step-sons, Kent (Gail) Busha and Nick (Beth) Busha both of Toccoa; nine step-grandchildren; three sisters, Faye Kesler, Joan Kesler and Anne South all of Carnesville; a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 19, 2021, 4 O’clock p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Johnny Thomas officiating.
Flowers are to be omitted. Memorials may be made to Amedisys Foundation, 53 Rock Drive, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 or Zebulon Baptist Church, Food Bank, 1083 W. Currahee Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mr. Oliver Kesler.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Oliver Welborn Kesler.
