Felix Cosme, Sr.

Mr. Felix Cosme, Sr., 92, of Gainesville passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at New Horizons Limestone.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at St. John Paul II Catholic Mission. Father Mark Starr will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 17, 2021at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Born on July 10, 1929 in Cataño, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Domingo Vazquez and the late Iluminada Miranda Colon. He was a United States Veteran and of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cosme is preceded in death by two sons.

He was a great companion, husband, father and friend who leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Hidalguinda Cosme Martinez of Gainesville, sons, daughters, grandchildren and a host of other relatives.  He will always be remembered.

El Sr. Felix Cosme, Sr., 92, de Gainesville falleció el lunes 15 de marzo de 2021 en New Horizons Limestone.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 12:00 p.m. el jueves 18 de marzo de 2021 en la Misión Católica St. John Paul II. El padre Mark Starr oficiará. Seguirá el sepelio en el cementerio de Alta Vista. La familia recibirá a sus amigos el miércoles 17 de marzo de 2021 en Memorial Park Funeral Home a partir de las 12:00 p.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. Debido al Covid-19, la familia solicita que todos los asistentes a la visita y al servicio usen una máscara y se adhieran a las pautas de distanciamiento social.

Nacido el 10 de julio de 1929 en Cataño, Puerto Rico, era hijo del difunto Domingo Vázquez y de la difunta Iluminada Miranda Colón. Era un veterano de los Estados Unidos y de fe católica.

Además de sus padres, el Sr. Cosme es precedido en la muerte por dos hijos.

Fue un gran compañero, esposo, padre y amigo que deja para acariciar su memoria a su esposa, Hidalguinda Cosme Martinez de Gainesville, hijos, hijas, nietos y una multitud de otros familiares. Él siempre será recordado.
