Roberta Ann Young

Mrs. Roberta “Bobbie” Ann Young, age 76, of Pendergrass, GA passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021.  Mrs. Young was born on November 30, 1944 to the late Robert and Bernice Bowman Babcock. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Bernita Basiger.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years Gregory Young and sister Ruth Camper of Flowery Branch, GA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Bobbie was born in Lima, Ohio where she graduated from Lima Highschool in 1962. Mrs. Young loved her job and got to travel to many places. She worked for Perry Corporation in Lima, Ohio for 20 plus years and then went on and retired from Global Imaging in Tampa, FL in 2010 after 10 years of service.  When she retired, she and her husband moved to Pendergrass, GA. Mrs. Young was a member of the American Legion since 1984 and a member of Amvets Auxiliary #39. She loved loafering with her husband Greg and going antiquing. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Bayliff and Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cridersville.
