Roy T. Foster

Roy T. Foster, age 75, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Jones Foster; parents, Harold and Nellie Moore Foster; and brother, Johnny Foster. Mr. Foster is survived by his children, Ray Foster of Dacula, GA and David Foster of Dahlonega, GA; sister, Sheila Foster Hicks and husband, Donald  of Suwanee, GA; brother, Harold (Carol) Foster, Thomaston, GA; step father, Robert Nichols, Suwanee, GA; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Mr. Foster was born on June 19, 1945 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1963 graduate of White County High school in Cleveland, GA. Mr. Foster was employed with Tyson Food Company in Cumming, GA, and he was a member of St. Lutheran Church in Doraville, GA. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Suwanee, GA with Pastor Jay Bergstresser officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 14 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.at the funeral home. After the visitation, everyone will meet at the cemetery for the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home in memory of Roy Foster to help with funeral expenses.
