Betty Louise Jarrard

Mrs. Betty Louise Jarrard, age 77 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.  

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Ken Anderson, Reverend Larry Watkins and Reverend Josh Land will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.      

Mrs. Jarrard was born July 19, 1943 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Jack Newell and Lomie Corn Newell.  She was a wonderful homemaker and a member of Canann Baptist Church.  Mrs. Jarrard was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Shirley Cochran and her brothers-in-law, Benny Woodall, Clarence Cochran and Denny Jarrard.      

Mrs. Jarrard is survived by her husband of 60 years, Reverend Earl Jarrard, Jr. of Gainesville, her brother-in-law, Robert Jarrard of Dahlonega, her sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Jenny Lou & James Barbee of Gainesville, her sister-in-law, Brenda Jarrard of Pendergrass and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
