Miss Rocio Vargas, 19, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Monsignor Jaime Barona will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 and at Memorial Park funeral Home on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Born on March 14, 2001 in Gainesville, she was the daughter Ana Berta Flores Solis and the late Jose Pablo Vargas. She was employed with Mar-Jac and was of the Catholic faith.

Miss Vargas is survived by her spouse, Joani Ramirez of Gainesville; son, Joani Emmanuel Ramirez Vargas of Gainesville; mother, Ana Berto Flores Solis and step father, Ángel Estrada Jiménez of Gainesville; brothers, Noe Aviles, Jose M. Vargas, Juan F. Vargas all of Gainesville; sister, Aracely Estrada Flores of Gainesville; grandmother, Maria Magdalena Solis of Mexico City, Mexico and a number of other relatives.

La señorita Rocío Vargas, de 19 años, de Gainesville falleció el sábado 6 de marzo de 2021.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 11:00 a.m. el viernes 12 de marzo de 2021 en la Iglesia Católica St. Michael. Actuará monseñor Jaime Barona. Seguirá el sepelio en el cementerio Memorial Park. La familia recibirá a amigos en la residencia el miércoles 10 de marzo de 2021 y en la funeraria Memorial Park el jueves 11 de marzo de 2021 de 11:00 a.m. a 7:00 p.m.

Debido al Covid-19, la familia solicita que todos los asistentes a la visita y al servicio usen una máscara y se adhieran a las pautas de distanciamiento social.

Nacida el 14 de marzo de 2001 en Gainesville, era hija de Ana Berta Flores Solís y el fallecido José Pablo Vargas. Trabajaba con Mar-Jac y era de fe católica.

A la señorita Vargas le sobreviven su esposa, Joani Ramirez de Gainesville; hijo, Joani Emmanuel Ramirez Vargas de Gainesville; madre, Ana Berto Flores Solis y padrastro, Ángel Estrada Jiménez de Gainesville; hermanos, Noe Avilés, José M. Vargas, Juan F. Vargas todos de Gainesville; hermana, Aracely Estrada Flores de Gainesville; abuela, María Magdalena Solís de la Ciudad de México, México y varios otros parientes.
