Helen Louise McDonald

Helen Louise McDonald, 87 of Dahlonega passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021. Born to William and Mable (Taylor) Gaddy in Candler North Carolina, Mrs. McDonald moved from Gainesville, Georgia and then lived most of her life in Dahlonega. She worked at Pine Tree for 15 years and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband Clarence McDonald, grandchild Christopher Stephen Seitz, siblings Mary Jo Reed, Jessie Mae Quattlebaum, Mollie Loggins, Emmett Gaddy, Ernest Gaddy, and Roy Gaddy.

Mrs. McDonald is survived by her children; Alan (Joan) McDonald and Lynn (Earl) Mason, sister Eva Jane Osborne, grandchildren; Chris (Amanda) McDonald, Casie (Justin) Jennings, Brandon (Christine) Mason; great-grandchildren Cooper & Carter McDonald, Malli, Jace, & Remi Jennings.

Family will receive friends on Friday March 12, 2021 from 5pm until 8pm, and Saturday March 13, 2021 from 12pm until 2pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 13 at 2pm in the Chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega.
