David McCallister

David McCallister, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Mr. McCallister was born in White County to the late Barney Lee and Lessie Ruby Kinsey McCallister.  In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Farrell McCallister, Doris Pilgrim, and Hayward McCallister. He was a self-employed Logger and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include wife, Frances McCallister, Cleveland; daughter, Tammy McCallister, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Lisa McCallister and Keith and Tonia McCallister, all of Cleveland; sister, Peggy Nelms, Clarkesville; 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Thursday, March 11, 2021 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Flynn, Rev. Anthony Cook and Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate.  Interment will follow at Macedonia Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the funeral home.
