Bruno R. Carrillo, Born October 12, 1947 in Zacatecas, Mexico. Bruno passed away March 6, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, following a long battle with the aftermath of the Covid virus. Even though the virus was long gone it wreaked havoc on his body from which he could not recover.
Bruno came to the US in the late 1960 s and worked his way across this beautiful country, seeing most of it. He finally settled in Gainesville, Georgia in 1975, where he met and married Peggy Ledford and started a family. After being a long time resident of the United States, he studied hard and gained his Citizenship. Bruno worked for Milliken Gainesville Mill from the late 1970 s to until 1985 when it closed. He then transferred to New Holland where he continued to work for 36 more years, until he retired for good in 2012. He was very proud of his work history, working for a great company. He was never late and only being out when absolutely necessary. He spent his retirement cutting grass and working outside. He loved to watch Old Westerns, Wrestling, Family Feud and always a good telenovela. He also gained the title Best Papa Ever.
He taught his children and grandchildren by example to be humble, kind, work hard, and love your family. He was a wonderful husband, father and Papa. He was our Rock, ever steady, our constant. He will be missed dearly and for the rest of our lives.
Bruno was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria Carrillo; son, Paul Duncan and grandsons, Nicholas and Isabelo.
He is survived by wife, Peggy Carrillo; children, Donny, Tonya, Angela, Juana and Ricky; grandchildren, Kristopher, Matthew, Katelyn, Sarah, Alexander, Westin, Adian, Alexis, Tony, Olivia, Damian, Alaina, William and Adilyn; great-grandchild, Avery; brothers; Valente, Evaristo and Chano; sister, Amelia; And our newest members, we are proud to call family, Jennifer, Caleigh, Maria, Cammi, and Logan.
