Jean Wilson Raper

Jean Wilson Raper, age 80, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Porter Raper; son, Thomas Gary Dobble; and daughter, Freida Dawn Dobble. Mrs. Raper is survived by her children, Lisa Adams, Canton, GA and Joyce Martin Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Michael and Katie Adams, Euharlee, GA, Corey and Shonda Adams, Dallas, GA, Kimberley and Brian Dobbins, Cumming, GA and Madison Martin, Lawrenceville, GA; nine great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Lavin, Port Orange, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her church family. Mrs. Raper was born July 15, 1940. She was a 1958 graduate of Spencer High School in East Spencer, NC. She was retired from Aramark Company. Mrs. Raper was a member of Duncan Creek Congregational Church in Buford, GA. A memorial service to Celebrate the Life of Jean Wilson Raper will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Rev. James Dee Dillin officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at Duncan Creek Congregational Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. For the safety of everyone, those attending are requested to wear a mask.
