Alfred Wheeler Ringer

Mr. Alfred Wheeler Ringer, 91, of Gainesville passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Gainesville.

Immediate Family only- A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday March 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 3612 Old Oakwood Rd, Oakwood, GA 30566.

Born on October 25, 1929 in Newberry, SC, he was the son of the late Albert and Fay Wheeler Ringer. He was retired from AT&T where he was an electrical engineer. Mr. Ringer was a proud veteran of the United States Army ad a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Mr. Ringer is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Ringer of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Kathryn and David Herndon of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Edgar “Ed” and Debbie Ringer of Lilburn, Dave and Kayleen Ringer of Oconee, GA; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
