Ruth Wilma Smith

Ruth Wilma Smith, age 81, of Cumming, GA, passed away on March 5, 2021. Ruth was born in 1940, to the late Lewis W. and Ruth Sophia Worley. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Ruth enjoyed cooking, sewing, building, and painting. She was very crafty and was an amazing wood worker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Smith and brother, Ted Worley.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth (Catherine) Smith, and Terry Smith; grandchildren, Abagail Smith and Alicia Smith; and 2 great grandchildren, Rylie and Braden Hamby; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Cumming, GA with Rev. Richard Picklesimer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
