John Michael Hospodar, Jr., 86, of Cumming passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021. John was born December 5, 1943 in Kingston, PA to the late John Michael and Anna Hodika Hospodar. He was a devoted husband, father and family man. John served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves from 1967 to 1963 and was a graduate of Mercer University, receiving his MBA. He was employed for over 40 years with Automatic Switch Company (now Emerson Electric) and was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd.
Survivors include his wife, Constance Hospodar; daughters, Maria Heckman, Lisa Rawlings, Amy Alexander and Kira DeLancey; grandchildren, Allyson Sims, Jake and Emily Rawlings, Stephanie DeLancey, Mark and Matthew Alexander. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 3, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 3740 Holtzclaw Road; Cumming, GA 30041. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
