Sallie Harris Rumsey

Mrs. Sallie Harris Rumsey, age 75 of Rumsey Row , Toccoa, GA, passed away, Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

A daughter of the late Ruby Short and Howard Newton Harris, she was born November 17, 1945 in Habersham County and lived most of her life in Stephens County. Sallie retired from Coats & Clark after 30 years of service. She attended the Foothills Gospel Music Park in Carnesville, GA and was preceded in death by her husband Pat Rumsey that passed away in 2020.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Tony Goza of Toccoa, two step-sons and their wives, Timothy and Carla Rumsey and Patrick and Dawn Rumsey, a grandson Taylor Goza.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 2 PM at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Tim Miller officiating.

Interment will be in the Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Sallie Rumsey
