Barbara Joyce McDaniel Couch

Barbara Joyce McDaniel Couch, age 60, of Griffin, GA, formerly of Gwinnett, County, passed away February 21, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara McDaniel; sister, Cynthia Atkinson.  She is survived by her husband, James Couch, Griffin, GA; sons, William Stephen (Penny) Sammon, Bryan (Crystal Gayle) McDaniel; children, Chris Couch, Michael Couch, Cynthia McElhannon, Angel Jasmine; father, J.M. McDaniel; brother, John McDaniel; sisters, Judy Dawley, Shirley Castell, Sharon Berry; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Couch was born May 8, 1960 in Nashville, TN.  She received her education from Dacula High School and was a graduate of Lanier Technical College.  Mrs. Couch was a medical assistant for Dr. Hodges and was a member of Church of Covenant, Conyers, GA.  A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Jasmine officiating.  Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA.  Family will Receive Friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Everyone is requested to wear a mask for safety reasons of Covid19 precautions.
