Mrs. Anna Lou Payne Ragsdale, age 90 of Long Road, Toccoa passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Stephens County Hospital.
A daughter of the late Clyde Harrison Payne and Mozelle Norton Payne, she was born August 27, 1930 in Banks County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Toccoa and was active in the XYZ. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Ragsdale I 1993.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Barry Kesler of Toccoa and Karen and Bill Barnes of Martin; grandchildren, Jon and Amy Williams, Kristy and Greg Evans, Greg and Jackie Kesler and Nic and Christie Kesler; five great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ronny and Janice Payne of Snellville; brother-in-law, Charles Dickerson of Smyrna.
The family will have a private graveside on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend David Ritcey officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Barry Kesler, Bill Barnes, Jon Williams, Greg Kesler, Nic Kesler and Greg Evans.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Anna Lou Payne Ragsdale.
