Barbara Ann Denton Steed

Barbara Ann Denton Steed, age 77, of Dacula, GA passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Floyce Drake Steed; and three brothers, Roy, Paul and Tommy Denton. She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Harold Steed, Dacula, GA; children, Pamela Steed, Tucker, GA, Greg (Alison) Steed, Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Marshall (Taylor) Steed, Cumming, GA, Ethan Steed, Flowery Branch, GA; brother, Jerry Denton, Homer, GA; sister, Brenda Denton, Homer, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Steed was born April 26, 1943 in Jefferson, GA. She was a 1962 graduate of Jefferson High School. She was a retired bookkeeper from Kmart Co. after 25 years of service. She enjoyed reading, quilting and fishing. She was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation ( https://www.kidney.org/ ) in memory of Barbara Steed.
