Rigoberto Cuevas

Mr. Rigoberto Cuevas age 65 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Wednesday February 17, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday February 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Paul II Catholic Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Hernan Quevedo will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday February 19, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Rigoberto was born on August 25, 1955 in Jalisco, Mexico to Clemente Cuevas and Maria Cuevas- Cuevas. He was retired from Electrolux where he worked as a salesman and he was an active member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church. Rigoberto is preceded in death by his father.   

Mr. Cuevas is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maria Diaz Cuevas of Gainesville, children, Amalia Cuevas (Hector) of Hoschton, Daniel Diaz (Adriana) of Gainesville, Lourdes Cuevas (Jose) of Gainesville, Oscar Cuevas of Gainesville, grandchildren, Adryana Vega of Hoschton, Justina Vega of Hoschton, Lilyana Vega of Hoschton, Emalie Baro of Hoschton, Scarlett Diaz of Gainesville, mother, Maria Cuevas of Gainesville, siblings, Maria de Jesus Madrigal, Jose Luis Cuevas, Rosalva Lopez, Maria Guadalupe Cuevas, Isaias Cuevas, Isidro Cuevas, Elvia Hernandez, Maria de Sagrario Cuevas Manuel Salvador Cuevas, and Juan Manuel Cuevas all of Gainesville, Ga and a host of other family members and close friends.  

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
