Jimmy Lamar Trotman

Mr. Jimmy Lamar Trotman, 77, of Flowery Branch passed away February 16, 2021.

Mr. Trotman is survived by his wife, Diane Trotman of Flowery Branch; daughter, Teri Lynn Trotman Brock of Gainesville; son and daughter in-law, Henry Todd and Angie Trotman of Gainesville; granddaughters, Kira Camille Brock, Amelia Skye Brock, Charlotte Abigail Trotman, and Anna Lake Trotman.

And his fur babies Ava and Sophia.         

Since a young age, Mr. Trotman was always doing something wether it involved something business related, driving something fast, boating, or spending devoted time with family. He was a beloved husband, father, and “JJ.” He was a successful entrepreneur and businessman. He had a strong passion and work ethic that was inspiring from a young age. It was this simple philosophy that propelled him to own and successfully operate multiple businesses throughout his lifetime. Yet he was a humble, kind, caring, and generous man. He put others before himself. He was a true southern gentleman. He loved the water. He loved his family and friends, which he was most proud. The family would like to express their appreciation to everyone for their prayers and loving support. His loved ones covet your continued prayers as they grieve deeply such a massive loss. Jimmy would have no greater joy than for those to know that he is in a better place.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
 
Due to COVID-19, everyone attending the service is to wear mask due to social distancing guidelines.
