Jonathan Lamar Bell, best known as Pinkey and to his immediate family, Frank, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021.
Jonathan was born October 26, 1962, son of the late James Curtis Bell and Sarah Latrell Robinson.
He was a fun-loving man that cared about everyone around him and never judged. He was a man of God that became a member of First Baptist Church in 2005, where he served as an Usher. Jonathan graduated from Gainesville High School in 1980. He was a long-time employee of Mar Jac Inc. where he became employed in 1986. He was a lifelong, die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved to talk about Gainesville High School football.
Jonathan “Pinkey” Bell will forever be remembered by his wife, Angela Bell, his daughters, Twanna (Stepehn) Bell-McDonald and Shantia Bell, and his grandchildren, Alexyss “Pretty Girl” Smith and Asia “Gorgeous” Smith. He is also survived by brothers, Willie (Charlotte) Robinson and James (Carolyn) Robinson; He will also be remembered by a host of nieces and nephews, many of which he shared the role of a father figure and friend. Most notably Adonia, Chastity, Tonya, and Jermine.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Curtis Bell and Sarah Latrell Robinson and Minell and Robert Hall; his brothers, John Martin, Jr. and Nathaniel Bell.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, February 19, 2021 at the funeral home.
