Mr. Gary Allen Gulotta, age 68, of Oakwood passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Father Eric Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Mr. Gulotta was born June 29, 1952 to Victor & Esther Gulotta in Hammond, Indiana. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and spent 37 years with Panduit Corp. as a shipping & receiving supervisor. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus for 25 years and active in the Prince of Peace Men’s Club.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy B. Gulotta of Oakwood, Georgia; his daughter & son-in-law, Tracy & Bradley Sayer of Flowery Branch; grandchildren; Cody Sayer, Michael Sayer, Reagin Sayer, Dante Root, Kylee Root, Allen Sayer, and Travis Sayer.
Parents, Victor & (the late Esther Gulotta); brother & sister-in-law, (the late Salvador) & Maria Gulotta; brother & sister-in-law, Michael & Debbie Gulotta; sister & brother-in-law, Cathy & Ed Majchrzak; and sister, Nancy Gulotta
Also survived by loving brother & sister-in-laws, Marilyn & (the late John) Potat, Linda Taaffe, Larry & Kathy Black, David Black, Jeannie Murawski and Karen Black; and several nieces & nephews.
