Kenneth Harold Martin

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Kenneth Harold Martin, age 77 of Talmo, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, February 12, 2021.  Mr. Martin was born in Talmo, Georgia a son of the late Fred Harold Martin and the late Kathleen Justus Martin, was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church and was the Founder of M & M Transmission.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin is preceded by brothers, W.A. Martin and Danny Ray Martin and sisters, Mildred Daniel and Linda Sue Massey and also his wife Melinda Gunter Martin.

Survivors include two sons, Todd Martin and his wife Cindy of Monroe, Rick Harold Martin of Winder.  Daughter, Robby Goss and her husband Ron of Jefferson.  One sister, Marie Martin of Cleveland, three brothers, Summie Martin of Gainesville, Roger Martin of Talmo and Dennis James Martin of Talmo.  Nineteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from the Pond Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Johnny Knight officiating with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  The body will be placed in the Church at 1:00 P.M..  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the funeral home.  Those attending are asked to maintain safe social distancing and please wear a protective mask.
