William Leonard Parden, 77, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021 in Alta Vista Cemetery. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Born on September 21, 1943 in Flowery Branch, he was the son of the late Rufus Parker and the late Willard Thomas. He was retired from Winn Dixie where he worked in the meat department. Mr. Parden was a veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Parden is preceded in death by his brothers, Gower Parker and Leonard Parker.
Mr. Parden is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Kelly Len and Marty Ayers of Homer, GA, Wendee Marie and Thomas Little of Gainesville; sons and daughter in law, Denver Ray and Talisha Parden of Yulee, FL, Tal Parden of Flowery Branch; 9 grandchildren; brother, Ricky Joseph Parker of Gainesville; sisters, Barbara Parden, Sarah Parden; special friends Timmy Lee and Nadine Pridgen of Pendergrass and a number of other relatives.
